Chacaltaya - Half Day private
Itinerary Chacaltaya:
Chacaltaya is the highest Ski-resort in de world, situated at 5.340 meters above sea level.
It has at 5200 m. altitude a real Ski hut where you can
get hot chocolate, coffee and other drinks and snacks. Even behind the
glass you have perfect views over the nearby snow peaks and lakes.
From the top you have beautiful views of the Cordillera Real.
When the weather is clear you will be able to see the city of La Paz, Lake
Titicaca, Sajama Volcano and Huayna Potosi.
We leave La Paz around 8.30 in the morning.
From there we leave for Chacaltaya, which is situated about 1,5 hours
from La Paz.
Once we arrived Chacaltaya the car will leave you as high as possible
(depending on the weather) and we will try to reach the top on foot.
We will stay about one and half hour in Chacaltaya. We will drive back
to La Paz about one hour, depending on the traffic jam.
Tour ends around 13:00 - 13:30 hrs.
